Chapter 25

I woke up the next month, took a piss, took a shower, brushed my teeth, helped get the kids up and ready, got dressed, helped toast breakfast, yelled goodbye to my daughter, kissed my wife goodbye, watched the cable sports channel with T-Man before piling in the car and taking him to school. Then I drove to the bank, sat at my desk, answered three phone calls, responded to six emails, chatted with Tim and George in the break room (we talked about last weekend’s golf tournament), ate lunch, finished work, took the bus to the park-n-ride, drove home, helped make dinner, ensured homework was completed, watched an episode of Jeopardy, went upstairs, relieved my bowels, brushed my teeth, swallowed my two pills, laid in bed, told my family goodnight, turned off the light, and fell asleep.
